கடந்த சில மாதங்களாகவே ஈழத் தமிழர் பிரச்சனைக்கு ராஜீவ்காந்தி- ஜெயவர்த்தனே இடையே 1987ஆம் ஆண்டு கையெழுத்தான இந்திய இலங்கை ஒப்பந்தத்தின் அடிப்படையில் இலங்கை நாட்டு அரசமைப்புச் சட்டத்தில் செய்யப்பட்ட 13-வது திருத்தத்தின் கீழ் தீர்வு காணும் பேச்சுக்கள் நடந்து வருகிறது.



தமிழர் தேசிய கூட்டமைப்பின் தலைவர் இரா. சம்மந்தன் தலைமையில் வந்த அந்நாட்டு நாடாளுமன்ற தமிழர் பிரதிநிதிகள் குழு டெல்லிக்கு வந்து பிரதமர் மன்மோகன் சிங்கை சந்தித்து பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்திவிட்டு சென்றுள்ளது.



இப்போது அந்நாட்டின் செல்வாக்குமிக்க அமைச்சர் பசில் ராஜபக்ச வருகிறார் என்றால், ஈழத் தமிழர்கள் மீது ஒரு தீர்வு திட்டத்தினை திணிக்க முடிவெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது நன்கு புலனாகிறது.



இலங்கை ஒற்றையாட்சி அரசமைப்புச் சட்டத்தை ஒருபோதும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளமுடியாது என்று அறிவித்த தமிழர் ஐக்கிய விடுதலை முன்னணியின் அங்கமாக இருந்த தலைவர்கள்தான், இன்றைக்கு தமிழர் தேசிய கூட்டமைப்பாக இயங்கி வருகின்றனர். ஆனால் இப்போது அவர்கள் இலங்கை ஒற்றையாட்சி அரசமைப்பிற்குட்பட்ட ஒரு தீர்வை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடிவு செய்திருப்பது, ஈழத் தமிழினம் அரை நூற்றாண்டுக் காலமாக நடத்தி வரும் அரசியல் விடுதலைப் போராட்டத்திற்கு முரணானதும், எதிரானதும் ஆகும்.



13வது திருத்தத்தின்படி தமிழர் மாகாணங்களுக்கு கிடைக்கும் அதிகாரம் அனைத்தும் மாகாண சபைகளுக்கு கிடைக்கப் போவதில்லை. 1987ஆம் ஆண்டு இராஜீவ் காந்தியும், ஜெயவர்த்தனாவும் இணைந்து திணித்த ஒப்பந்தம் ஈழத்தமிழினத்திற்கு எந்தத் தீர்வை தராது என்று அப்போது சுதுமலையில் நடந்த பொதுக்கூட்டத்தில் தமிழீழ விடுதலைப் புலிகளின் தலைவர் மேதகு. வே.பிரபாகரன் கூறினார்.



அப்போது அவர் கூறிய வார்த்தைகளை அப்படியே தருகிறோம்: “இந்த ஒப்பந்தத்தால் தமிழரின் பிரச்சினைக்குத் தீர்வு ஏற்படுமென நாம் நினைக்கவில்லை. சிங்கள இனவாத பூதம் இந்த ஒப்பந்தத்தை விழுங்கிவிடும் காலம் வெகு தூரத்தில் இல்லை. தமிழீழத் தனியரசே தமிழீழ மக்களின் பிரச்சினைக்கு நிரந்தரத் தீர்வை அளிக்கும் என்பதில் எனக்கு அசையாத நம்பிக்கை உண்டு.



தமிழீழ இலட்சியத்திற்காகவே நான் தொடர்ந்து போராடுவேன் என்பதையும் இங்கு திட்ட வட்டமாக உங்களுக்கு எடுத்தக் கூற விரும்புகிறேன். போராட்ட வடிவங்கள் மாறலாம், ஆனால், எமது போராட்ட இலட்சியம் மாறப்போவதில்லை” என்று தெளிவாக பிரபாகரன் பேசியுள்ளார்.



அது இன்றளவும் வரலாறாக தமிழர் நெஞ்சங்களில் உள்ளது. உண்மை இவ்வாறிருக்க, ஈழத் தமிழினத்தின் மீது, அவர்களுக்கு எவ்வித அரசியல், பொருளாதார அதிகாரத்தையும் வழங்காத 13வது திருத்தத்தைக் காட்டி ஒரு தீர்வைத் திணிக்க இலங்கை, இந்திய அரசுகள் முயற்சிப்பதை தமிழர்கள் கடுமையாக எதிர்க்க வேண்டும் ஈழத் தமிழினத்தின் அரசியல் சம உரிமைப் போராட்டத்தின் இலக்கு தனித் தமிழ் ஈழமே. எனவே, உலகெங்கிலும் வாழும் தமிழர்கள் அந்த உன்னத இலங்கை அடையும் போராட்டத்தில் தொடர்ந்து ஈடுபட வேண்டும்.

AIFB blames CM for creating 'uncertainty' over Panchayat poll

Kolkata: All-India Forward Bloc on Monday accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of trying to create "an air of uncertainty" over holding Panchayat elections in West Bengal and "misguiding" people.






Referring to the state government's review petition in Supreme Court, AIFB secretary Ashok Ghosh said, "It is to be kept in mind that the state did not mention the issue of Ramazan month clashing with the rescheduled poll dates in the court before the delivery of its order on Friday."



Ghosh claimed that the Muslim community would face difficulties during campaign in the month of Ramazan and said that it was because of the state government's "various forms of resistance" that the poll schedules were fixed in the midst of monsoon.



He alleged that the Chief Minister had been "frantically trying" to stall the Panchayat poll for the last six months.



The Forward bloc leader said the primacy of the State Election Commission over the organisation of Panchayat poll settled by the court was a blow to the state government.

விடுதலை புலிகள் அமைப்புக்கு இந்தியாவில் விதிக்கப்பட்ட தடை நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டதை எதிர்த்து வைகோ மற்றும் வழக்குரைஞர் புகழேந்தி தாக்கல் செய்த மனு தள்ளுபடி செய்யப்பட்டது.




இந்தியாவில் விடுதலைப் புலிகள் இயக்கம் கடந்த 1991ஆம் ஆண்டு தடை செய்யப்பட்டது. அதன்பிறகு ஒவ்வொரு இரண்டாண்டுகளுக்கு ஒரு முறை இந்த தடை நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இந்த நிலையில், 2010ஆம் ஆண்டு மே மாதம் விடுதலைப் புலிகள் அமைப்பின் மீதான தடையை நீட்டித்து மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சகம் உத்தரவிட்டது. இந்த தடை நீட்டிப்பு சரிதானா என்பது குறித்து ஆராய்வதற்காக தில்லி உயர்நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதி தலைமையில் ஒரு தீர்ப்பாயம் அமைக்கப்பட்டது.

தீர்ப்பாயத்தின் இந்த உத்தரவை ரத்து செய்ய கோரி வழக்குரைஞர் புகழேந்தி மற்றும் மதிமுக பொதுச் செயலாளர் வைகோ ஆகியோர் சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்குத் தொடர்ந்தனர்.

58 members of 'Tamil Nadu Thevar Peravai' arrested

Over 50 members of the 'Tamil Nadu Thevar Peravai' were today arrested for attempting to picket the Madurai airport, police said.




They were demanding that the airport be named after freedom fighter Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar.



Fifty-eight members, who held a demonstration earlier, tried to march towards the airport when they were arrested, police said.



The Peravai is an organisation working for the cause of the Thevar community.
