It is not the first time that big heroines had refused to act opposite Karunas when he turned lead protagonist. On earlier occasions, the actor himself rued that top heroines refused to act with him.
Once again, director Shakthi Chidambaram had a tough time finding a lead actress for him when he launched his film Machchan .
At the audio launch of the movie which took place recently, Karunas lashed out at Nayanthara and Amala Paul who wish only to act with heroes like Vijay and Ajith. “If that is going to be the attitude of top heroines, where will other actors go for their female leads?” Karunas remarked.
S.J. Suryah released the first set of audios and SAC had the honour of receiving the first copy. Vivek who plays an important character in Machchan and Sheryl Pinto who essays the lead girl were also spotted on the occasion.
