Suriya was supposed to play the lead role in Nalan Kumarasamy’s next ‘Eskimo Kadhal’ but for some unknown reasons he opted out of the project and took Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Masss’. Meanwhile, the project went to Vijay Sethupathy, but for the time being he got his hands full, and asked Nalan to wait for him. However, the sources say that Nalan has moved on from both the biggies and signed Gautham Karthik for his sophomore project.
Nalan followed the path of Balaji Mohan, and Karthik Subbaraj to make it big from short film arena to silver screens. He bagged many awards for ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ and it's been close to 18 months since the release of his debut movie. An official confirmation regards to his association with Gautham Karthik is expected to come in a few days time.
