The All-India Forward Bloc will take out a Secretariat march and stage a dharna demanding to check the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities here on Monday.
The other demands of the Forward Bloc include solve the drinking water shortage problem in the state, find a solution for the inefficiency of the Kerala State Electricity Board, withdraw the power tariff hike which increases the burden on the common man and ensure corruption free administration from all the government departments.
The march and dharna is being organised by the state committee of the Forward Bloc to solve the problems faced by the general public after the UDF Government came to power.
The rally would start from Mascot Square and the activists would reach in front of the Secretariat. Forward Bloc national secretary G Devarajan would inaugurate the dharna. State general secretary V Ram Mohan would preside over the inaugural function of the dharna.
Central secretariat member and Tamil Nadu MLA P V Kathiravan, central committee member K R Brahmanandan, state secretariat members Kalathil Vijayan, Aakkavila Salim, T Manoj Kumar and Velladurai Pandyan would address the activists participating in the dharna.
