Looks like actor Karunas and his team are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his next film “Ragalaipuram” clicks at the box-office. Apparently, four different versions of a song were recently recorded by Srikanth Deva, who is intent on delivering a hit. The music director was satisfied with the last version.
Says Karunas: “The song appears just before the climax. We wanted it to be a peppy number for the masses, and Srikanth Deva has done a fine job. He kept working on it; he was satisfied with only the fourth version.”
The film, which includes the likes of Kovai Sarala, M.S. Baskar, Singampuli, Singamuthu, Madanbob, Manobala and Mayilsamy, is an action comedy directed by Mano. Incidentally, Mano wrote the comedy track for actor Vadivelu in over 30 films.
