Now, the ace comedian of Tamil cinema is acting in a direct Malayalam movie, titled 'Cowboy'. The role Vivek playing was initially set to do by Jagathy Sreekumar. Since the actor met with an accident, Vivek has replaced him.
According to director P Balachandrakumar, "Vivek will be the right replacement to Jagathy, since both are good at comedy and acting skills. The film has a lot of comedy scenes and I am sure Vivek will fit the bill."
Back home in Tamil cinema, Vivek is acting in a slew of Kollywood movies, besides keeping himself busy with social service activities. The actor is batting for the cause of planting trees all over the State, as part of the Green Kalam Project.
