Seeman on Friday came out of his version on the allegations made against him by actress Vijayalakshmi, who said that the director shared a relationship with her for the past three years and refused to marry her.
Talking to journalists, the founder of Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam said, "I will fight the issue legally. I am very much available and won't run anywhere. I won't even approach the court for anticipatory bail."
"I suspect the handiwork of a few enemies in this case," he said and added: "I had helped Vijayalakshmi to overcome some troubles. This is what she has given me in return. But I am not bothered about it."
On Wednesday, Vijayalakshmi came to the Chennai city Police Commissioner's office with her counsels and submitted a petition against Seeman. Her four-page complaint said Seeman was refusing to marry her after maintaining a close relationship.
