Veteran actress Manorama, was admitted to the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai on the 30th of March following lung infection and respiratory difficulties. After undergoing the requisite treatment she was discharged a couple of days back, all fit and fine.
On the work front, the legend had sung a number for the movie Peraandi in Hitesh's music just before her hospital stint. She is also playing the grandmother to the hero in this movie.
