National Award-winning director Bala is not unfamiliar to Telugu audience. His film, Shiva Putrudu, instantly brought fame to Vikram. It also endeared him to our hearts. Vaadu-Veeda, though a below average BO farer, was liked for Vishal's superb performance.
Audience who are informed about forthcoming releases have their eyes set on Bala's Paradesi. Starring Atharva in the role of a tea plantation worker, the film sees Dhanshika and Vedhika in the main roles. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director. It is slated for a Pongal release in Tamil Nadu, while its Telugu release may take time, given the fact that SVSC and Naayak will be in the race.
"I have done what Bala sir asked me to do. It is his film. But I am hopeful that it will do the much needed magic to my career," says Atharva.
After films such as 'Bana Kathadi' and 'Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal', Atharva is doing this period movie, which is set in pre-independence era.
