The ancestral house of Netaji Subash Bose at Odiya Bazar in Cuttack,already converted in to a National Museum will soon have a light and sound system for the general public. A decision in this regard was taken at a high level meeting here today presided over by state Culture and Tourism Minister Maheswar Mohanty. The meeting finalised the light and sound stsyem to be installed at the Netaji Subash Bose Museum which is likely to be inaugurated on January 23,the birth day of the great leader.
Mr Mohanty asked the department officials to conduct a practical test of the system before it was opened for the public Official sources here said after completion of all formalities the light and sound system will be inaugurated on Netaji's Birth Day on January 23 next. State Culture Principal Secretary Ashok kumar Tripathy had apprised the Minister on the scrutiny of party and practical test within a fortnight to enable the Department for inauguration of the system in January next.
Director, culture, Sushil Das,meanwhile,has instructed officials to handover the audio system to concern party to prepare the light system after proper matching with the sound system at the earliest possible.
