What Jayam Ravi missed and Arun Vijay got?

The remake of the Telugu blockbuster Kick is now underway in Tamil titled Thillalangadi. The film is directed by Jayam Raja and stars Jayam Ravi and Shaam. There were reports a few days ago that the team had been trying hard to sign up Karthick to play the father’s role in Thillalangadi. However, all efforts proved futile as the actor simply refused the role for reasons best known to him. The team later finalized Prabhu for the role.

The buzz now is that Karthick had agreed to star in Maanja Velu, which has Arun Vijay in the lead.
