KARUNAAS EXEMPLIFIES IN SOCIAL SERVICE

Actor Karunaas has exemplified his social deeds by funding the higher education of 135 Srilankan Tamil refugees after selecting meritorious students amongst them. These students, pursuing MBA and MCA in different colleges in Chennai, Madurai, Dindigul and Kovai, had visited Karunaas in Chennai during Diwali celebrations. They expressed their gratitude and promised to help more of such needy students once their education is complete and placed in good jobs. That was a touching gesture of their desire to repay what they had received. Eezha Nehru, the coordinator of the Srilankan Tamil refugees, substantiated further that the Government supported the students till the Higher secondary level but beyond that even the ones with distinction were not able to study further. That is when Karunaas extended his hands voluntarily to brighten these students' future.
