Even as Kamal Haasan is getting strong opposition from the theatre owners for his plans to premiere his upcoming movie Vishwaroopam through DTH, he seems to be getting strong support within the industry too. Veteran director Bharathiraja has appreciated and supports Kamal Haasan move. He feels that filmmakers should take advantage of new technologies and make such new attempts. The director has said that he will be taking steps to release his movies through DTH in his future films. Bharathiraja is currently busy getting his upcoming movieAnnakodiyum Kodiveeranum which stars his son Manoj Bharathiraja, Karthika Nair and Iniya in the lead roles. Gangai Amaran and Vairamuthu have penned down the lyrics. It’s a GV Prakash musical. The movie will show Manoj in a negative shade.
