condemns the production team of Maravan

The Klang Valley Mukkulathor Association (KVMA) condemns the production team of Maravan Official (https://www.facebook.com/MARAVAN_Official-1628996063986000/timeline/). This movie is not about the Maravar community in India or Malaysia. The story is about a rubber tapper. We questioned them the need to use Maravan as the title as it is not related to rubber tapping. They claim that their title Maravan has nothing to do with us. If this goes on, it won't take long for someone in the future to claim our historical records with the word "Maravan" as theirs. They can always say Maravan does not mean Thevar. KVMA will proceed to make official complaints about the title. We request our comrades in this group to send this image to the page and question them about it. Thank you.
