Bala does a Lingusamy; produces three films simultaneously

Taking a cue from producer-director Lingusamy, director Bala has started producing more than one film simultaneously. Only a few days back, Bala performed the muhurat of Pisaasu, a film produced by his banner B-Studios which would have Mysskin in the lead role and would aos be directed by him. Then came news that Bala was co-producing Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film titled as Vasantha Kumaran with Suresh Kalanjiyam. Bindu Madhavi has been roped in as the heroine of this film which is being directed by Anand Kumaresan. It is now reported that Bala would be producing national award-winning director A. Sarkunam’s next directorial venture which would star Adharvaa as the male lead. It may be recalled that Adharvaa had given a very good account of himself as an actor in Bala’s Paradesi which released last year. Sarkunam’s last film Naiyaandi didn’t do well at the box-office and he would be looking to make amends with his new untitled venture which would have music by Gibran. The film’s shoot is likely to commence in July.
