Sivaji Dev back with a bang

Sivaji Dev, grandson of the late legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan, who debuted in the Madurai-based film Singakutty, went into hibernation only to return with a bang.
The actor says that he went to London for a brief stint and took up an acting course. “I was waiting for a good script when director Shyamalan approached me with this city-based script Nandhanam. I play an IT professional and it’s a different take on romance,” Dev tells DC.

Mithra Kurien, who declined many offers post her role opposite Vijay in Kaavalan, finally gave a nod for Nandhanam. Talking about the film, the director says, “It is a triangular love story told in an unusual way.
The entire film takes place in an IT company and has been shot mostly in the city’s Nandhanam area. There’s a social message for the GenY as well.”
Telly fame Rishi essays the stylish antagonist. After Easan, producer A.L. Alagappn plays an important role. Popular M’town music composer Gopi Sundar debuts in Tamil.
