“The Party severely criticizes the way the State government handled the issue. All India Forward Bloc demands that compensation to the deceased must be increased and the injured people should also get compensation as suggested by the Apex Court,” Forward Bloc statement said.
The Forward Bloc statement urged upon the political parties to stop the blame game and take pro-active steps to bring back normalcy in the area. The government should initiate concrete program to provide employment opportunities to the youngsters, ensure freedom of worship and movement and take the people into confidence before further steps were announced, statement further said.
