Kumki is still in the race

The latest buzz in the industry is that, director Prabusolomon is all set to reshoot a couple of scenes in his forthcoming Kumki as he wants the film to look slick and stylish. It's being said that the team will begin work on it soon, and rework scenes involving Vikram Prabhu,Lakshmi Menon and the elephant.
However, its producer Lingusamy rubbishes the reports, saying, "The film is all set to hit screens for Deepavali. There's no question of us reshooting the scenes. In fact, we are working on the pre-production now. We are very happy with the output and the way the film has shaped up."
The film, which marks the debut of Vikram Prabhu, son of Prabhu and grandson of Sivaji Ganesan, is about a mahout and his trained kumki elephant.
