After his whooping hit Myna, Prabhu Soloman is up and almost done with his next film Kumki. The Movie casts Vikram Prabhu, son of actor Prabhu and grandson of the legendary actor Shivaji Ganesan. Lakshmi Menon is playing the female lead. Both the actors are making their first debut in this movie which is jointly produced by Lingusamy's Thirupathi brothers and UTV motion pictures. The music of the movie is composed by D Imman. This movie rejoins the crew worked on Soloman's successful 'Myna'. The cinematography is done by Sukumar.
The story revolves around Kumki elephants, with Vikram prabhu portraying a mahout. It shows the elephant trainer's love life set in a forest. The movie is almost close to completion. The climax is being shot right now. The shooting will be wrapped up soon.
