SJ Surya flocks to a roadside eatery in Tenkasi with friends

Actor-director S.J. Suryah is all set to reveal a lesser known side of his persona. The film-maker, who has given super-duper hit films staring Ajith and Vijay in the lead, started directing films and playing lead roles when he ran out of producers who were willing to back him up. His last Tamil film was Newtonin Moondraam Vidhi besides a brief role in Shankar’s Nanban early this year.

Suryah’s upcoming film Isai would have his own isai (music) as he is all set to turn a music director with him besides playing the lead role in the film and directing it (old habits die hard, isn’t it?). The script of Suryah’s upcoming film is said to have as its backdrop places such as Tirunelveli and its picturesque surroundings.

In order to hunt for the right location to commence the film’ shoot, Suryah was in Tenkasi a couple of days ago and had taken on rent a room in Kutralam. In between the story-discussion sessions and hunting for locations, Suryah also found time to visit a popular eatery named the ‘Border Parotta Shop’ in the night.

Spotting Suryah, a huge crowd of curious onlookers and his fans had collected at the place. Suryah, who had gone to have his dinner along with his friends at the road-side eatery, spoke casually with all those who had assembled without throwing any ‘starry tantrums’. The fans were in for a happy surprise and expressed confidence that his upcoming film would be a ‘decent’ entertainer.
