'Kandupidi...' gets 'U'

Seeman's heroic venture 'Kandupidi Kandupidi' has been cleared by the officials of the Censor Board with a clean 'U' certificate, that too without a single cut. The film will hit the screens on May 11.

Directed by Ram Subbaraman, the action thriller has Seeman playing the role of a police officer. With newcomers Murali and Aishwarya Dev doing the lead pair, 'Kandupidi Kandupidi' is produced by Kalki Yuva on Movie Bazaar banner.

Says the director, "A murder takes place when arrangements are on for a wedding at a marriage hall. Police officer Seeman starts investigating the case. How he solves the mystery within a few hours is the crux of the film."

He adds: "The film comes with a message that love affairs should be encouraged. As many as 100 new faces are making their debut with this movie. Most of them have dubbed on their own."
