Popular child artistes and sons and daughters of a few of the stars in the industry come together for the film “Kadhal Theevu”, written and directed by Vetri Veeran of “Arumbu Meesai Kurumbu Paarvai” fame. Vairamuthu's son Kabilan Vairamuthu is penning the lyrics while Yesudas' son Vijay Yesudas and Malaysia Vasudevan's daughter Prashanthini have lent their voices for the songs. Ramcharan who played young Parthepan in “Azhagi” and Tanvi Lonkar who played teenage Latika in “Slumdog Millionaire” play the lead. Bharathiraja's son Manoj K. Bharathi plays a negative role in the film. Singer Velmurugan is singing a duet with Betty Jardin, a singer from France. Director Vetri Veeran says they are looking at finishing the shooting at the earliest. “It is a love story. One part of the shooting is over, the rest will be shot soon,” he says.
