Kadal dubbing almost done, getting ready for final edits

Mani Ratnam's next film, Kadal, which is getting ready for a February release is busy making amends in the post-production department. The team are currently dubbing for the film and it appears that they will be wrapping up soon. Gautham Karthik, who is playing the male lead in the film has posted on Twitter regarding the happenings.
"Dubbing for Kadal patch work now! Last day of dubbing I guess" posted Gautham on Twitter confirming the news. The film has already seen huge promotions thank to the success of it's soundtrack composed by A.R.Rahman. The songs, including Nenjukulley and Elay Keechan, have soared to the top of the iTunes charts. Following the trailer release and the launch of the film in Telugu as well, we are all excited about this one and can't wait to see it on screen.

'Kadal' waves to hit big screens in February

Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam is back with a bang this time with a superb love story in the backdrop of vast and natural blue canvas that is the sea.

Promising to be a visual treat with a heart whelming storyline, 'Kadal' (Tamil) and 'Kadali' (Telugu) has been creating a big buzz through its attractive trailers - which interestingly has crossed more than 1.5 million hits already. Reportedly of late, ATMUS Entertainment, one of the premium production banners in the industry, has acquired the theatrical rights of the film.

The movie is tentatively scheduled to release simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu on February 1.

With God of Music AR Rahman behind the music scenario, the film's songs are already a chart buster hit. A movie made by Mani Ratnam in his grass roots of southern India, Kadal/Kadali is sure to beat all the expectations...
ATMUS plans a big release like their previous releases Thuppakki, Maattrraan and Billa-2. Maniratnam is a brand in USA, next to only Rajini and Kamal. There is a lot of interest among local exhibitors in screening this movie in their area. If anyone is interested, contact: atmus1@gmail.com or call Ram Muthu at 214-533-6437 as soon as possible!
