Will S.J.Surya meet his July date now?

We have the latest updates from the long in the making Isai, directed and produced by S.J.Surya, and featuring Surya, Sathyaraj and Savithri in lead roles. The film's editing is reportedly complete and two songs are left to be shot in sets in Chennai's Binny Mills. From the 1st of April, Surya will begin filming these songs. Isai, which was earlier planned as a May 1 release, is now targeting a July release. The film is said to be about the professional rivalry between a talented upcoming composer and an established veteran composer. Surya made his mark as a director with blockbuster films like Vaali, Kushi and New. He would be looking to reestablish his place in the industry with Isai.
