The audio launch and trailer release of director Manivannan's 50th film Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA, a sequel to his 1994 super hit film Amaithipadai happened recently which was graced by Ameer, Kalaipuli S Thanu, SAC and Seeman. The film has Sathyaraj, Seeman, Raghuvannan, Mrudala and Komal Sharma in lead roles with music by James Vasanthan.
Speaking at the audio launch function the director said "Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA is a political film but it is not based on any
particular person, I'm not afraid of any one. If politicians want to attack me, let them. But if one stone falls on my house, no politician can speak on a stage. Our tiger team and Seeman will take care of them".
The director believes that Sathyaraj's performance is going to be the biggest highlight of the movie. The story revolves around his transformation as Nagaraja Cholan and his political career. The original, years ago, was a runway hit at the Box Office and Sathyaraj's character had come in for much praise.
