Vijay Sethupathi, Kreshna and Sunaina starrer 'Vanmam' that is being directed by Jayakrishna a former assistant of Kamal Haasan, has begun recently in the locations surrounding Kanyakumari.
As per insiders talk, the current schedule will last for 40 days at a stretch. Shooting of one of the songs in the film has been completed and currently the scenes that include Kreshna, Sunaina, Madhu Sudhan Rao who acted as the lead villain in 'Goli Soda'and Sriranjani who acts as his pair in this film are being shot.
A song featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Kreshna which is likely to be the introductory number for the lead heroes will be shot once the former joins the sets on May 6.
'Vanmam' will have music score by Thaman and Balabharani is cranking the camera. The film will be a mixture of high octane action and intense emotional sequences and it is the production venture of Hitesh Jabak of Nemichand Jabak banner.
