Bala to work with Ilayaraja again

Can anyone forget the association of National award winning Director Bala and Musical Legend Ilayaraja, though it has not been on cards for more than 4 years? Bala and Ilayaraja worked together for the Arya-Pooja starrer Naan Kadavul that released in 2009 and after that, their union did not happen. It is to be remembered that Bala's debut film Sethu and Pithamagan the film for which fetched National awards had super hit songs and remarkable background score composed by the Isaignani. Bala has also worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja in Nanda his second film and Avan Ivan which is his fifth film. Paradesi, his latest film that released last year had G.V.Prakash as the Music Director. It is old news that Bala's next film will have Actor turned Director and Producer Sasikumar playing the lead role. Initially it was told that G.V.P will be composing the music for this film. However the young composer has backed from the project since he is busy with the film Pencil in which he is making his debut as a lead actor. This apparently has paved way to the much desired reunion of Raja and Bala Sources closed to the untitled flick say that the senior Raja may give a nod to work with Bala if all things goes well. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
