A caste outfit on Wednesday said the title Deiva Thirumagan for the forthcoming Vikram starrer should be changed immediately.
According to Devar Kula Kootamaippu president Shanmugaiah, 'Deiva Thirumagan is the title for Muthuramalinga Thevar, who fought for the down-trodden and poor. To use his name for a movie is like demeaning him'.
Expressing resentment of behalf of his community, he said if the movie's title is changed, we will stage protests in front of theatres.

Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar is the only Deiveeha Thirumagan (Deiva Thirumagan). Not this Jocker(Komali). They must change the name immediately.
