Bharathiraja's Sigappu Rojakkal was a trendsetting thriller of its times. The film which starred Kamal Hassan and Sridevi is still talked about today, with important scenes being the one involving the cat and the Ninaivo Oru Paravai song.
Now, the director is working on the sequel of the film and is slowly amassing a cast and crew for the project. Sources say that he has narrated the script yesterday to GV Prakash and if things work out well, GVP will be the music composer for Sigappu Rojakkal 2. However, it is not confirmed as to whether Bharathiraja himself will direct the sequel, there is a buzz floating around that his son Manoj may don the directorial hat this time.
