The state transport corporation has launched the e-ticketing scheme where passengers can book their tickets 30 days in advance. The much awaited scheme was launched by Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat yesterday.
The online booking will be made available to 250 destinations shortly while right now it is available for 52 centers in Tamil Nadu. Passengers can log on to www.tnstc.in to book their tickets for which a minimum charge will be collected. Once the booking is done online, a SMS is sent to the passenger’s mobile as an acknowledgement.
